In the 1950s, the Shokofteh Industrial Group started its activity with a simple foundry workshop by Mr. Habib Shekofteh, casting and producing all kinds of measuring equipment, and this production process continued with its own progress until the 1980s.
At the beginning of the 1980s, according to the needs of the country and the special attention of the management, the production of all kinds of parts for sugar factories, rail parts, automobile parts, agricultural parts, gas supply parts, and forge parts began.
Since the end of 1980s, along with the changing trend of the country's daily needs, this company started producing steel sections.
Since the middle of the 1991s, with the development of production technology, this group started rolling all kinds of steel sections, including special steel sections, for the first time in Iran by manufacturing rolling machines, which were also designed in the same company, which is a new step. In the field of hot rolling, steel sections were removed by this company.
From 2001s to 2011s, quantitative and qualitative development of rolling and melting lines in the form of different lines and factories was on the agenda of the group. From the end of the 1380s, the beginning of studies and measures for the construction of the steel complex was considered.
